Backlog of Posts

I haven't updated here in a while but I've finally got some motivation to start writing again! I'm going to consider this a To-Do list of blog posts that I owe myself. I took a little detour with a couple sporadic book reviews but I need to catch up on my travel posts. I've fallen insanely, embarrassingly, behind..

(I was there ^ but I still haven't written the post about it!)

I'm SIX YEARS behind on posting about my 24 hour long layover in Taipei which was the last leg of my trip to Bali & Singapore.  I also took a Eurotrip to Budapest, Copenhagen, and Dubrovnik (a/k/a Kings Landing!) which never got a write up.  Although, that trip happened during the same week as the 2016 election and I think I blocked a lot of it out from the depression fog of the aftermath.

In the lockdown and pause on life during Covid, I did have enough time to update about my 2020 trip to England with my mom.  Posting a year after the fact was an interesting take on how they say "hindsight is 20/20" from my trip in 2020.... there's a pun/joke/wink & nod there but I'm not a comedian  (apologies)

Last year, 2022, was an amazing year actually.  I had steady work that sent me over to Europe twice! I was able to turn those trips into two epic Eurotrips that my instagram photo-dumps just don't do justice.   In July I went to Amsterdam for TwitchCon and turned it into a Euro-train adventure to Paris, Brussels, and Bruges.  Then, over Thanksgiving weekend, I went to Disneyland Paris for the Brawl Stars World Finals. I ended up extending that trip into a 3 Day visit to Vienna and a then a WHOLE MONTH in Prague to close out the year. Unfortunately, I did spend about a week and a half in isolation with Covid, BUT having a full month really saved the trip because I still had plenty of time to see more than I ever expected to see.

So now that I've written the list of outstanding posts, I have to get through it and clear out this backlog! I have a trip to Italy booked with my mom & brother in October that I need to start really thinking about and planning. I need to catch up before I add another handful of cities to this list!

The wanderlust never ends..  ttyl (as us Elder Millennials say)
